Progressus Advanced Projects October Release Now Available

Progressus Advanced Projects 9.5.0.6 release is available and includes a variety of enhancements to billing, expense, and WIP.

Progressus Advanced Projects 9.5.0.6 release includes application enhancements to expand the robust functionality available to professional services and project-based businesses.

The October release contains enhancements most notably to Billing and WIP.

Billing & WIP capabilities	Three new WIP enhancements have been added
New ability to print the Invoice Specification Report as well as adding additional filters for variables on reports for developers	Bug fixes in billing, budget, project, time, and others

Billing Updates

• The Quote report now contains the same descriptions as the sales invoice report and match those on the Scheduled Billing lines page
• The Invoice Resource Specification Report now includes an option “Include Expenses” and has been renamed to Invoice Specification Report

WIP Updates

• The fields below have been added to the Calculate WIP, Clear WIP, and WIP and Revenue Recognition pages. This feature adds flexibility to segregate the calculation of WIP for TM tasks and FP tasks on a project:
  • Include Contract Type Tasks TM (Boolean)
  • Include Contract Type Tasks FP (Boolean)
• Added new Calculate WIP until Date field to Project Card, and WIP and Revenue Recognition pages:
  • Calculate WIP until Date has been added to the Project Card and WIP and Revenue Recognition pages. The Est. WIP Amt. field has been enhanced to more accurately reflect the amount that will be posted when WIP is run
• Fixed Price: Use Full Contract Value has been added in the WIP, Recognition Settings & Allocations section of the Project Card. This feature provides more flexibility to determine the basis when calculating WIP for Fixed Price contracts.

Additional Enhancements and Bug Fixes

This release also includes enhancements to Hour Bank, Project, and Fixed Price as well as bug fixes for Billing, Budget, Journals, Project, Reports, Setup and Time.
