Progressus Advanced Projects September Release Now Available

Progressus Advanced Projects 9.4.0.6 release is available and includes a variety of enhancements to project, time, and more.

Progressus Advanced Projects 9.4.0.6 release is now available and includes application enhancements to expand the robust functionality available to professional services and project-based businesses.

The September release contains enhancements most notably to Project and Time capabilities.

Project Time & Expense	Resource Planning – Work Assignment Required Skill and Timelines
Custom events to change the handling of the project status update process and purchase invoice creation	Bug fixes in billing, budgets, reports

Resource Planning Updates

• As task dates are changed, users can see work assignments that have fallen outside the planned start and/or end date of the task:
  • Starting Date-Time or Ending Date-Time fields have been added on the Work Assignment.
• Users that need to see how many hours have been assigned to a Work Assignment for a resource:
  • A new field was added in the Project Plan, Project Subform, called “Res. Hours on Work Assignments.”
• Work Assignment Timelines are now configurable
• “Required Skills” field is added on the Work Assignment Card

Time and Expenses Updates

• Timesheets submitted before a task was updated from completed remain as unapproved on the Timesheet Approval page:
  • If an open timesheet exists for a task, the system will not allow the task status to be changed to completed.
• An event to add custom fields when users import expenses in the Project Expense Journal:

Additional Enhancements and Bug Fixes

This release also includes enhancements to Billing, Budget, Purchasing, and Resource as well as bug fixes for Billing, Budget, and Reports.
